Cybernet is a young, black and white shorthair with short, spiked out headfur dyed bright, bright red and a long, thin tail. He is of an extremely slim build, and prefers to wear tight jeans and t-shirts, especially ones of bright reds, blues, purples and oranges. He also loves jewellery, especially necklaces and bracelets with brightly coloured beads, stones or intricate knot work designs. Although not a vain cat in any way, he is extremely self-conscious about his appearance and spends a great amount of time grooming himself and choosing each outfit with great care.

Though born under the name Cúthail, only his family, teachers and other people of authority ever call him that, as he hates the name, which means “shyness” in an ancient language. Unfortunately, the name rings true as Cybernet is an extremely shy kitten, and although he loves to make friends, he often feels lonely and lacks the self-confidence to approach anyone. He spent most of his childhood and early teenage life struggling defiantly against the stereotyped image of raw masculinity imposed upon him by his family and the prejudiced suburban neighbourhood in which he grew up. He spent so much time trying desperately to define whom he was not that he never got the chance to find out who he actually was. Now, after finally gaining the courage to run away from his oppressive life at the age of seventeen and a half, he’s starting to learn how to deal with the problems of his early life, figure out who he really is, and learn exactly what he can do.

Cybernet is a very kind cat by nature, blessed with a bright mind, wild imagination, quick wit, and good sense of humour, and when he’s in the right mood he can easily find the humour in almost everything. And if he can’t, he’ll happily insert his own, with varying results. He’s also an extremely energetic kitty, though that might have more to do with the caffeine he’s constantly consuming, as he’s completely and utterly addicted to coffee in all its shapes and forms. However Cybernet’s happier, more energetic side was often repressed by the cruelty of his prejudiced parents and neighbourhood, but now that he’s broken free from all that into the much more accepting world, hopefully he can find more to laugh and joke about.
